Writer-director Todd Field returns with a new film “Tár,” a character study of world renowned conductor-composer Lydia Tár. The film’s score is by Hildur Guðnadóttir and is designed to have a subliminal impact. Omnidirectional microphones were used to record the symphony orchestra leaving the sound team with more than 50 tracks to work with.
